The problem

Students need help learning how to think through problems.

Today’s solutions are mostly geared toward an answer. AI isn’t built to teach, and schools can’t run it at scale.

One platform built to connect students, teachers and administrators, so no one does the same work twice. Every student gets teaching personalized to their learning style. Working today for the SAT.

How it works

It understands each student, finds the exact step they missed and walks them through it.

  1. Step 1: Talk it through

Explain your approach, show your work or ask for a hint. Speak, type or upload a photo of your paper.

  2. Step 2: Work it out together

It names the step that slipped and works it out with you, like a teacher at the board. It can talk you through it out loud, with captions.

  3. Step 3: Practice until it sticks

New questions set to your goals. Your progress only counts the ones you get right on your own.

Progress and plan

Your progress only counts what you did alone.

  • A plan to test day

Tell it your test date, or a rough month, and it plans every day until then. Miss a day and it moves things around.

  • A predicted score, with its range

It starts as an early estimate. The range tightens the more you practice.

  • Progress by skill

Each skill in the SAT’s eight domains lights up when you get it right without help.

For schools

Every student gets a tutor. Their progress shows what they can do on their own.

Students, teachers and administrators will work from the same place, so nothing is entered twice. We’re looking for schools and school systems in the Gulf to pilot Syllabus with real classes. We’ll judge it on one thing: how students do on questions they answer without help.

Talk to us about a pilot
  • Nothing to install

It runs in a browser on the phones and laptops students already have. They can keep working on paper.

  • Progress a student can show you

Each student’s Progress page shows which skills they can do alone and which still need help. There is no separate teacher view yet.

  • Teachers and administrators next

A teaching assistant for the class and a view of what’s working, built with teachers. The rule: they must not add to your grading.

Questions

Before you try it

Is the tutor a real person?

No. Syllabus is an AI tutor. It reads your work, finds the step you missed and walks you through it.

Will it just give me the answer?

It teaches first. When you ask, it gives a hint, a similar example or the full solution. Your progress only counts questions you get right on your own.

Do I have to type my whole solution?

No. Work on paper and type only the answer. If you get stuck, talk it through, type the one line you’re unsure about, or upload a photo of your work.

Does it cover Reading and Writing as well as Math?

Yes. SAT Math and Reading and Writing.

What if I don’t know my test date?

A rough month is fine. It plans every day from today until then, and you can change the date in Plan.

Is it connected to the College Board?

No. Syllabus is independent. SAT is a trademark registered by the College Board, which is not affiliated with, and does not endorse, this product.
